Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky said he was “personally” grateful to “Speaker Mike Johnson for the decision that keeps history on the right track” after Johnson shepherded a $61 billion Ukraine aid package through the House Saturday.
The image of scores of Democrats waving Ukraine flags and cheering on the House floor as the bill passed will forever sting the conservatives from whose ranks Johnson rose, only to serve “I am grateful to the United States House of Representatives, both parties, and personally Speaker Mike Johnson for the decision that keeps history on the right track,” a gleeful Zelensky posted on X after the vote.them with the ultimate betrayal. Once all of the ten percent cuts have been sliced off, Zelenskyy will be lucky to receive enough to buy stones for slingshots.

So, Johnson shows his true colors. Now, tell me again why it was such a great thing that we got rid of McCarthy? And MTG can rail about this all she wants, but she was instrumental in causing this debacle.

So much for that Biblical, Christian view of the world. I keep hearing Speaker Johnson say Ukraine is critical but never any details. And spare me the garbage (from certain commenters) about how Putin is a bad guy. So is China's Xi Jinping but the same posters so quick to support Ukraine and attack Putin are silent about attacking China. There are a lot of bad people as leaders in this world and we don't go after everyone of them. Other than voting for Trump this November (or earlier with early voting here in VA) and maybe the R challenging Sen Tim Kaine, I'm done voting Republican.

I wonder what Mike Johnson's blackmail was?
In the end, we are all in the sights of the Intelligence arm of the body politic. Most of us are just leaves to be brushed aside. But we need to start forming strategies to deal with these people. Understand that their only ethics is to retain power. Donovan, under FDR kicked it off. Now, anyone that comes to power has their lives and their family's lives documented and investigated. Any weakness is noted and filed for future use. If you are that very rare person without discernible weaknesses, they turn to you extended family and friends. Only a friendless orphan is an island.
When they find the weak point they sidle up and sneer how they will destroy what you love if you don't obey. For most, personal reputation is enough. But they would attack, torture and kill family members if nothing else moves you. These are monsters. These people could give Sauron lessons. These people make James Bond's Blofeld look like a piker. This is what we, as the American people are up against: Satan's Most Corrupt.
Blame Mike Johnson for being vulnerable. When asked about the Kennedy assassination, Donald Trump was prevented from releasing the final details of JFK's assassination by these people. They are strong and deadly.
But remember, the Tree of Liberty must regularly be watered with the blood of tyrants AND patriots. The conflict is inevitable.

Do the math and try not to puke.
The $61 billion that is earmarked for Ukraine has almost all been spent already by Z on credit! Yup ... he's paying back his friends in the armament industry who "lent" him the money. He bought bullets & guns on his nation's credit card, and the US was the co-signer of the loan. I'm sure they will give him a 5% finder's fee in gratitude!
Now ... divide that $61 billion by the number of US congressional districts and you come up with a staggering $140 million .... EACH! Could your own CD use that kind of money as a one-time shot in the arm? Think of how every bridge and road could be repaired and every school, library, etc. being upgraded. We robbed our own children to help someone else's kids.
Thanks Europe for sharing the load!

For the members of the congress and senate who voted for this, everyday is Palm Sunday. They collectively act like giddy little girls at the prospect for another large payoff from the Zelensky, the greatest kickback artist of the Universe. Will it change the inevitable defeat for the Bandera's? Hardly!

When I first read of this I went to Google and did a search on "Mike Johnson" and the following headlines came up: CNN - How Johnson came to embrace Ukraine aid and defy his right flank MSNBC - Mike Johnson gambles on democracy winning in the House CNN - How Johnson cam to embrace Ukraine aid and defy his right flank New York Times - How Mike Johnson got to 'Yes' on Aid to Ukraine Washington Post - The Evolution of Mike Johnson on Ukraine. Does it even remotely seem like he is on the right side of this?

I am furious with Johnson’s betrayal. Heed the words of Tucker Carlson, weak men enable evil. Also, the words of Edmund Burke, the only thing necessary for evil to triumph is that good men do nothing. This is a betrayal with massive consequences which will bring more violence to the region. It strengthens the enemies’ hands while preventing or even considering a means to end the carnage. There is blood on the hands of the supporters of this preventable travesty. Their solution is always more war. Where are the calls for negotiations? At this point in our civilization, we should not be knee jerk war mongers. We act like barbarians and not measured, serious, and diplomatic individuals who understand there is a solution other than waging war. Ultimately, when this onion is peeled back we will see that the root of all evil is the love of money. We should not be surprised. The demonic party is all about making billions off the murder of the most innocent. War is just another lucrative money stream for them. Life is cheap and there is money to be made and Republicans are not innocent in all this.

Mike Johnson, have you been reading your bible lately? Do you know who Judas is? Well, he's the Speaker of the House. We admired you and wanted you to lead our nation in righteous ways and you failed. Yours is a sad ending to what could have been a great leadership!
