Columbia Moves to Remote Classes amid
Anti-Israel Campus Chaos

Columbia University president Minouche Shafik condemned the “intimidating and harassing behavior” that has occurred on the New York City campus over the past several days and announced that classes would be held remotely on Monday. “Antisemitic language, like any other language that is used to hurt and frighten people, is unacceptable and appropriate action will be taken,” Shafik said in a statement. She further suggested that “tensions have been exploited and amplified by individuals who are not affiliated with Columbia who have come to campus to pursue their own agendas.” Shafik added that, over the coming days, deans and administrators will convene to resolve the “crisis” on campus

Number 3 When I was in college during the Vietnam War we had what was called spring riots. The idea was to close down the main road. THe National Guard was called in and they said they would use tear gas. I just went to watch what was going on and when I heard about tear gas, I left in a hurry. They probably are not allowed to use it anymore but it is effective.

Interesting how a handful of noisy malcontents can shut down a major endeavor with just their presence and a few harsh words. And why do these scum do their protests at places that really have nothing to do with what they are upset about, and their staff and administration probably mostly share their opinions? Why don't they at least protest at the Capitol and White House and Pentagon, and at the Military Industrial Complex factories and at thee homes of the people who run those places. They are the ones who decide what happens, they are the ones who profit from the wars. Or better yet, take themselves to Gaza and enlist with Hamas and pick up a gun and fight 'the evil joos'.

The "public danger" pretext for The Steal 2024? Repeated efforts to find a new covid-style threat have all fallen flat (neither RSV nor bird flu seem to 'have panicked the public), and they're running out of time to set up for the unlimited absentee balloting. Maybe getting a violent anti-Israel occupation in every city can get Biden (or some other sock puppet) back in the White House.

wondering while watching this on television ... what are the parents of the non-demonstrating students saying and/or thinking about this matter ie: seeing their $90,000.00 going down the drain and having the college administration doing nothing to bring sanity to the campus there has to be a good number of grads who got a good education at Columbia and all they wanted was for their child(ren) to be as lucky as they were to attend a really very fine educational institution and not a school where social engineering commandeers the college's intended mission of educating not altering their child(ren)'s mind turning it into mush

Prosecutors in Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg's office have finally revealed the underlying crime they allege Donald Trump was committing when he allegedly falsified business records. According to Fox News, "New York prosecutor Joshua Steinglass on Tuesday said the other crime was a violation of a New York law called 'conspiracy to promote or prevent election.'" That law, New York Law 17-152, reads: Any two or more persons who conspire to promote or prevent the election of any person to a public office by unlawful means and which conspiracy is acted upon by one or more of the parties thereto, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.

Donald Trump is undergoing a criminal trial in Manhattan. He is charged with filing corporate records that included a false statement; namely, that payments to Michael Cohen that were described as being for legal services were, in fact, to reimburse Cohen for making one or more payments to Stormy Daniels in exchange for a non-disclosure agreement. But those payments to Daniels were perfectly legal, and filing a false corporate document is a misdemeanor on which the statute of limitation has passed. So in order to charge Trump, District Attorney Alvin Bragg had to allege that the false documents were filed in order to cover up another crime

There's been an unprecedented movement by college-age kids away from Ivy League and other so-called elite schools toward schools in the South. It's no mystery. Several factors are at play in this migration, including a greater sense of freedom, great college sports teams, and warmer weather. The pandemic hastened the migration as southern schools had relaxed strict COVID restrictions long before the eastern schools got around to it. The Free Press reports, "Both Brown and Harvard saw dips in their application numbers this year—by 5 percent and 3 percent, respectively. (Early decisions to Harvard were down 17 percent.)

WASHINGTON — U.S. companies would no longer be able to bar employees from taking jobs with competitors under a rule approved by a federal agency Tuesday, though the rule is sure to be challenged in court. The Federal Trade Commission voted Tuesday 3-2 to ban measures known as noncompete agreements, which bar workers from jumping to or starting competing companies for a prescribed period of time. According to the FTC, 30 million people — roughly one in five workers — are now subject to such restrictions. The Biden administration has taken aim at noncompete measures, which are commonly associated with high-level executives

House Speaker Mike Johnson reportedly apologized to President Joe Biden for rolling his eyes at the president’s angry State of the Union address in March. Johnson’s office did not deny his apology when Breitbart News asked for comment. The apology is the latest revelation that suggests Johnson’s sympathies lie with the establishment and Washington, DC, elites, rather than with the voters who elected him to Congress and the Republican conference. Just last week, Biden steamrolled Johnson by allowing Democrats to, in effect, seize control of the House, thereby allowing Biden’s agenda to sail through Congress.

Trump is currently facing 34 counts of falsifying business records in the first degree regarding payments made to Daniels during the 2016 presidential election.
