The state of New York has been trending right, and former President Donald Trump should “keep the strategy up,” former Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) said during an appearance on Breitbart News Saturday. “There’s so much to unpack here. First is we’ve seen this trend in New York, where each year since Joe Biden came into office, the state has been trending right,” Zeldin, a former gubernatorial candidate in the Empire State said. It is single-party rule in Albany with a supermajority of Democrats, Zeldin said, explaining that the state is dealing with prosecutors funded by George Soros. Once Trump's primary rival, DeSantis dropped out in January and endorsed Trump, right after the Iowa Republican Caucus and before the New Hampshire Republican Primary. As The New York Post reported:

Columbia University administrators seemed poised to take a brave stand against ongoing student protests Monday — and then totally wimped out, cowering in the face of student activists.
This morning, school president Minouche Shafik steadfastly announced on the school’s website that Columbia would not divest its endowment from Israel.
“The university will not divest from Israel,” Shafik courageously declared, while also acknowledging that negotiations to clear student protesters — who have been camped out on campus since April 17 — had been unsuccessful.
Ball in her court, Shafik laid down a new 2 p.m. deadline for the “liberated zone” to empty and the camp to be dismantled.

Four Florida teenagers have been killed after they were involved in a police chase in which officers used a maneuver designed to get a car to stop, but caused them to spin out of control. The four, who were between the ages of 14 and 16, attended Newberry High School in Bradford County, northeast of Gainesville. Ford Motor Company reported a whopping $132,000 loss on each electric vehicle (EV) sold during the first three months of 2024, amassing a $1.3 billion loss.
The auto manufacturer’s electric vehicle unit revealed Thursday that they experienced a 20 percent decrease in sales volume and were forced to slash prices due to low consumer demand, CNN reported. The revenue for Ford’s EV car, the Model e, plunged by 84 percent to about $100 million, which the company blamed on EV price cuts across the auto industry.
“That resulted in the $1.3 billion loss before interest and taxes (EBIT), and the massive per-vehicle loss in the Model e unit,” the publication noted.
