Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg this week used a faulty analogy on Fox News to taunt Americans for refusing to buy overpriced, environmentally damaging electric vehicles. But Americans on social media gave the inept and elitist Buttigieg a brutal reality check afterward.
Buttigieg was a guest on “America’s Newsroom” with John Roberts and Sandra Smith when he embarrassed himself. Roberts opened by telling Buttigieg about the collapsing Tesla sales and auto companies laying off large chunks of their workforces at electric plants.
He then pivoted to asking why the Biden regime continued to try to shove EVs down everyone’s throats.

When the power goes out?
My landline still works, so does my ICE vehicle.
Ya know what else works?
CASH money, even when the grid is down.
ya know who STILL works when the grid is down, to FIX it? People with landlines to get called in, and ICE vehicles to get to work.
Also...Gas Stoves, so we can still eat, and not freeze to death

Dems and their RINO co-conspirators are only pushing EV's because they've got a lot of money invested in it and because China told them to!

He's a total light weight, equal opportunity hire who needs to go back to city government. He's clearly in over his head.

The Buttster seems to have been taken off the table as a Presidential contender for some reason.
The Democrat powers that be may be traitor Spawns of Satan, but they are not stupid, just late to the party. They now see what we saw in this pathetic incompetent dork a long time ago.

Meanwhile back at Ole Yeller's garage he has his prize ICE Corvette parked next to stacks of classified documents. I admit I got rid of my landline phone. ATT was charging me $ 60 a month and I hadn't used it in years. Let me know Petie when there is an EV that can be fully charged in 5 minutes, isn't a fire hazard and costs less than the Hope diamond. Plus when I buy something it should be because I want it and not because the government wants me to buy it.

The Buttster is in WAY over his head. He and the ho Harris are the principal examples of the incompetence in the Biden kakistocracy. Well, there is also little Miss Rotini as White House spokeshole.

Pothole Pete wouldn't recognize reality if it bit him on his very sore butt. This overrated clown has been too busy feeding his baby and taking care of his husband to make any sort of progress on EV infrastructure, which is only one negative in the whole EV scheme. We have time on our side as existing ICE vehicles will last for an average twenty years because most brands are inconveniently reliable and efficient compared to the failing EV program. I hate to see Elon's company fail but that's the real reality.

If it weren't for the government putting its thumb on the scale of capitalism, the only EVs sold would be to wealthy elites who wanted attention from other wealthy elites.
Even with the government supplements, the public is learning that they are not worth buying. Free market always rewards good products in the end.

I have a landline because I have very limited cell coverage. My landline brings me the internet through DSL with another company. Both together cost less than a cable hookup, which is not even an option.

As an admitted homosexual (i.e. degenerate), Pete Buttigieg is suffering from mental illness and unqualified for any position of authority or responsibility.
That is all.

Petite Pete Booty is the last person to mock anyone. He who believes that men can get pregnant and breastfeed. He who also was so incompetent that he couldn't even take care of the roads in his city as mayor. I refuse to listen to anything that moron has to say. Especially about the nonstarter EV's.

I live in a rural area of which there are thousands like it. We have little to no cell coverage. In an emergency a land line is necessary. We have cell phones but, at home the land line is needed.

My daughter and her husband, both mid 30s, environmentally conscious, bout an EV SUV a year ago. It is fun to drive and they were initially very happy with it. Kids with a nice new toy. Last summer they went on a trip, but 150 miles from their big city home, they found finding charging and getting a full charge was a) very time consuming, and b) they couldn't safely predict their was recharging when they got out into the less populated areas. Then, an uninsured non-English speaker sideswiped them, and it took six weeks of their vehicle sitting in the shops to repair. Then this winter we had a cold snap where temps got below zero and didn't get above freezing for a week. The EV was useless. And then, the battery started going out. It was repaired under warranty -- but -- you don't know panic until you're locked out of your vehicle in a big city parking lot and the battery simply doesn't work. Crazy. We didn't say anything when they bought it, and haven't commented since they've had their problems, but I think they are now seeing just how great EVs are, much to their regret.
