President Biden touted his new plans to eliminate student loan debt for as many as 30 million borrowers and vowed to 'never stop delivering relief' on Monday as Republicans accuse him of trying to 'buy votes' ahead of the 2024 election. The president traveled to Madison, Wisconsin to deliver remarks on his latest effort to cancel debt through a series of new proposals. 'This relief can be life changing,' President Biden said. 'Folks, I will never stop to deliver student debt relief for hardworking Americans.'

People willingly took out loans, signed on the dotted line. College loan debt is not some disease you get through no fault of your own. All that took out the loans are legally responsible to pay it all back.

Universities are not what they used to be. Who wants to pay for, let alone take out a loan for, attending a social-justice factory for four years? A diploma is nothing more than an attendance certificate. Exhibit A: that mindless Cortez twit who has a degree in economics (i.e. attendance certificate) from Boston University and now runs her mouth in the House of Representatives.

He’s beyond disgusting. I’d love for him to explain why those of us over 65 should be paying off the student loans of the grifting crowd. They signed for a loan - repay it. It’s called a debt! Just WHERE in this "fruited plain" does he get dictatorial authority to do this? It's nothing short of BRIBERY to buy votes from many who ran the debts up on contracts THEY took our and are legally bound by LAW to pay...... I know people who have had well over $100,000 of student debt who have made NO ATTEMPT to pay them off and others who have had the same amount of debt actually take many years to pay of the debts they incurred. Why is it MY duty to pay off these DEADBEATS who make no attempt for a decade to make a dent in their obligations?

This used to make me mad. Now I can see that this is going to backfire on Biden. The number of taxpayers who have put their kids through college and/or paid off their own loans greatly exceeds the number of students who will have the loans erased. A lot more independents are going to vote for Trump this time around.

On Tuesday, a 25-year veteran of NPR who still serves as an editor at the outlet thoroughly exposed the left-wing network's bias and its attempt to quash stories inconvenient to the Democratic Party. In a self-written article, Uri Berliner laid out multiple examples of how NPR has heavily skewed its news coverage while allowing essentially no viewpoint diversity in the newsroom. Some examples Berliner gave included the "news" organization's coverage of the COVID-19 origins, the Russian collusion hoax involving Donald Trump, and the Hunter Biden laptop story. The lab leak theory came in for rough treatment almost immediately, dismissed as racist or a right-wing conspiracy theory.

The former President took to his social media platform Truth Social to pounce on the news that the rate of annual inflation rose again to 3.5 percent in March. Later in the day, he was filmed in a jovial mood as he visited a Chick-Fil-A where he picked up the tab for the entire restaurant. The latest inflation data had already caused stocks to tumble amid fears it will deter the Federal Reserve from slashing interest rates which are already at a 23-year-high.

With a few short-lived exceptions during the Reagan/Bush era and after 9/11, more registered voters have identified as Democrats than Republicans. In fact, since about 2003 — more than 20 years already — Democrats have consistently outnumbered Republicans, sometimes by as much as ten points. What a difference four years of His Fraudulency Joe Biden makes.Per the far-left New York Times: In the run-up to the 2020 election, more voters across the country identified as Democrats than Republicans. But four years into Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s presidency, that gap has shrunk, and the United States now sits almost evenly divided between Democrats and Republicans.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has sued Harris County, where Houston is located, over its guaranteed income program aimed to help thousands of impoverished households in the county. Paxton contends that the program, named 'Uplift Harris', which will provide families in need with $500 a month for 18 months, violates the Texas Constitution. More than 1,900 eligible individuals and families were selected from the ten of the poorest zip codes in the county in February, with the first payment scheduled to go out in late April. With the attorney general now calling the program unlawful, the program could be halted just weeks before the first payment is set to roll out.

A quarter of a century later and the city’s transportation agency is still using the same system.
