Anti-Israel protesters at the UCLA campus were unceremoniously cleared out of their makeshift encampments early Thursday morning after ignoring orders to leave.
While the leftists chanted, made speeches and whined about their cause, they sang a different tune as police unmasked those being arrested and hauled off.
âA dispersal order was issued Wednesday evening and by 3:30 a.m. Thursday, CHP officers in riot gear began advancing on the encampment. They then began dismantling and tearing away pieces of plywood, metal barriers and other items that protesters used to fortify it,â KABC reported. âThe California Highway Patrol said at least 132 people were arrested. They were detained with zip ties.â

A viral video clip highlighting President Joe Bidenâs âawkwardâ exchange with a podcast host sparked blistering reactions about his mental health and pandering to minorities.
In a short few seconds, the president was seen in the video clip staring blankly as businessman and talk show host Jason Lee did all the talking while shaking his hand.
The founder of Hollywood Unlocked and host of âThe Jason Lee Show,â which draws millions of views per episode on YouTube, could be heard telling Biden about his âblack-owned media companyâ as the president stared with a partial smile frozen on his face.

A majority of Americans see former President Donald Trump as a strong leader, while most see President Joe Biden as a weak leader, according to a poll.
The Economist/YouGov poll published on Wednesday asked respondents to classify Trump and Bidenâs leadership qualities.
A majority of 58 percent of all adult respondents say Trump is a strong leader, including a plurality of 35 percent who see him as âvery strong.â Trump is up one point in this department from a March Economist/YouGov poll that Breitbart News reported on.
The remaining 42 percent of respondents see Trump as a weak leader to varying degrees, including 32 percent who say he is âvery weak.â

A catastrophic multi-vehicle accident early Thursday morning involving a petroleum tanker truck, a tractor-trailer, and a passenger vehicle has led to the closure of I-95 in both directions, creating extensive traffic jams throughout the area.
The collision occurred around 5:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-95 near Exit 15, at the Fairfield Avenue overpass in Norwalk, Connecticut, abc7 NY reported.
The tanker, loaded with 8,500 gallons of gasoline, was significantly damaged in the crash, leading to a massive fire outbreak. [Video]
Miraculously, no injuries have been reported following the incident. Authorities have confirmed that there is no immediate risk of structural collapse despite the severity of the fire.

Jerone Davison is a former NFL Running Back who played college ball at Arizona State University before hitting the pros with the Oakland Raiders and spending three decades as a pastor.
As a MAGA political outsider, Davison is running for a House seat in Congressional District 4, the same district his Alma Mater, ASU, is located, and his campaign has continued to pick up steam. Heâs won multiple straw polls in the district, and heâs hoping for a shot to square off against Democrat Rep. Greg Stanton, an incumbent whoâs been a rubber stamp for the Biden administrationâs widely unpopular agenda.

President Joe Biden made some very unkind comments about Japan on Wednesday, comparing the nation to Russia and China over what Biden says is economic stagnation due to "xenophobia."
As RedState covered earlier on Thursday, Biden said that Japan isn't accepting enough migrants to its country leading to an economic downturn. It's an odd statement to make, given Japan's status as an important ally:
âOne of the reasons why our economyâs growing is because of you and many others. Why? Because we welcome immigrants,â Biden said at a Washington fundraising event for his 2024 re-election campaign and marking the start of Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

We've seen a lot of unhinged behavior by the radical leftists setting up encampments on colleges around the country, including antisemitic harassment, violence, taking over buildings, and attacking police.
They're not just saying "stop the war in Gaza"--they're demanding divestment from Israel, and they blame the U.S., with many calling us "colonizer" and regarding us, the United States, as an occupying force in the U.S. as well.
Here's what one speaker said a week ago on the campus of George Washington University: [Tweet, video]
It's not just that he said it, but listen to the cheers in response.

CBS News is reporting that the Biden administration wants to bring some refugees from Gaza to the United States. CBS says documents obtained from the White House reveal that "senior officials across several federal U.S. agencies have discussed the practicality of different options to resettle Palestinians from Gaza who have immediate family members who are American citizens or permanent residents."
The CBS report continues, âThe plans would require coordination with Egypt, which has so far refused to welcome large numbers of people from Gaza. Those who pass a series of eligibility, medical and security screenings would qualify to fly to the U.S. with refugee status,

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in Israel earlier this week, speaking loudly and waving a small stick. While Blinken ostensibly represents America's national interests abroad, his job in Israel is all about Presidentish Joe Biden's reelection bid â and how Israeli's defensive military actions in the Gaza Strip are complicating things for Biden at home.
Blinken met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in hopes, once more, of getting a temporary ceasefire with Hamas. A truce would "give us something to build on," Blinken said.
Who is this "us," Kemosabe, and what are we trying to build?
Hamas has rejected every offer for a ceasefire

Joe Biden appeared at the White House today to give unscheduled remarks on the ongoing pro-Hamas encampments occurring across the country. College campuses have been the scene of chaos and anarchy, with supporters of the terrorist group storming buildings while denying entry to Jewish students (and assaulting them in some cases).
Things finally boiled over at UCLA on Thursday morning after LAPD and CHP officers moved in to clear the encampment there. Numerous violent confrontations broke out, with the police succeeding in the end of clearing the area. The number of arrests made has not been announced yet.

Former President Donald Trump has been having some serious sit-down meetings with some significant national leaders, and it's annoying the Biden administration. These kinds of meetings aren't all that unusual during presidential elections, but as usual, Donald Trump is doing this his way:
In less than two months, Trump has hosted Polish President Andrzej Duda, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, former Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso and David Cameron, the former British prime minister who now serves as the U.K.âs foreign secretary. Heâs also talked with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and others by phone.
Itâs not unusual for a party nominee to meet with foreign officials â
